Experienced Carpenter

About the Role

We are a locally owned construction company on Oʻahu looking for a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our crew. This is a full-time position working on a mix of new residential construction, renovations, and remodeling projects across Kailua, Kāhala, Diamond Head, and Mānoa. Pay is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry on residential new builds, renovations, and remodeling projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Frame walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and finish materials
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all work meets building codes and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Communicate effectively with project leads, crew members, and clients

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on carpentry experience (journeyman level)
• Solid skills in both rough and finish carpentry
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites across Oʻahu
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Able to work well as part of a team
