1099 Construction Data Capture Contractor – $400/Day

Doxel is looking for a reliable independent contractor (1099) to perform interior reality-capture work at an active construction project in St. Francisville, LA.

PROJECT DETAILS

• Pay: $400 per completed capture day.
• Location: St. Francisville, LA 70775, near LA-964.
• Schedule: Once weekly, on Sunday or Monday.
• Expected duration: Through approximately June 2027, subject to the construction schedule.
• Time onsite: Approximately 4–5 hours per capture day, plus time to upload captured data.
• Training and capture equipment provided.
• Interior captures only; no drone work required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Walk the active construction site while operating Doxel-provided 360° camera equipment.
• Follow designated capture routes and instructions.
• Complete all data uploads the same day.
• Communicate with Doxel Operations before, during, and after captures when needed.
• Immediately report access restrictions, site changes, equipment problems, or anything preventing areas from being captured.
• Work independently onsite after training.
• Follow all site safety requirements and wear required PPE.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be comfortable walking for 4–5 hours on an active construction site, including stairs, uneven surfaces, and exposure to weather.
• Must have reliable transportation to the St. Francisville jobsite.
• Must have a reliable computer and internet connection. An upload speed of 30+ Mbps is preferred for same-day uploads.
• Must be comfortable using mobile apps and basic computer software.
• Must be able to pass required background screening and drug screening.
• Must provide a current resume showing current or most recent work experience.
• Construction experience is helpful but not required.

COMMUNICATION & RELIABILITY

Communication and reliability are extremely important for this position. You will often work independently onsite without a Doxel employee physically present.

You must proactively check your messages, respond promptly to calls, texts, or Slack messages from our Operations team, and provide updates without repeated follow-ups.

If you encounter an access issue, equipment problem, scheduling conflict, or anything else that could affect the capture, communicate it as soon as possible.
