TEMPORARY F1 EVENT PROJECT

LaborMAX Staffing is hiring experienced carpenters, remodelers and build-out workers for a temporary F1 event installation in Austin.

This assignment runs October 11 through October 28 and ends when the project is completed. Work is scheduled on specific dates during that period, including weekends, with some 10–12 hour shifts.
Most major components arrive prefabricated and will be assembled, fitted, modified and finished onsite.

Work may include:

Assembling prefabricated walls and structural components
Framing and field modifications
Installing panels, trim and finish materials
Measuring, cutting, fastening and fitting materials
Door, cabinetry and millwork installation
Working from dimensions, plans and drawings
Troubleshooting fit and installation issues
Event build-out and teardown/load-out
We are looking for experience in areas such as: carpentry, remodeling, framing, finish carpentry, commercial build-outs, cabinet/millwork installation, exhibit installation or scenic/event construction.

Requirements:

Real hands-on carpentry, remodeling or build-out experience
Able to measure and cut accurately
Comfortable using circular saws, drills, impacts and standard carpentry tools
Own basic carpenter hand tools and cordless power tools
Reliable transportation
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working from ladders/scaffolding and around elevated work areas
Available for the project schedule
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced build environment

Residential remodelers and experienced residential carpenters are encouraged to apply. Previous F1/event experience is not required.
