The Auto Shop of Chapin is seeking an highly experienced A-Level / Master Automotive Technician specializing in Domestic and Asian Import platforms to join our growing, family-owned independent repair shop. We are known for quality work, a strong team culture, and rewarding technicians who are skilled, efficient, and professional.

As our customer base continues to expand, we need a master-level technician who excels in advanced diagnostics, electrical systems, and modern drivability issues across American and Asian vehicle lines. This is an immediate opening for top-tier technicians only.

We are not currently hiring C- or B-level technicians for this role.

Qualifications

10+ years of verifiable automotive repair experience, with a heavy focus on Domestic (Ford, GM, Chrysler/Jeep) and Asian Import (Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Subaru, Nissan, etc.) platforms
True master-level diagnostic capability
Advanced drivability and electrical diagnostic skills on modern networking and CAN bus systems
Familiarity with manufacturer-specific scan tools and software (Techstream, IDS, WiTECH, GDS2, etc.) is highly preferred
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Professional appearance and demeanor
Own professional tools and toolbox
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
