What You Will Do (ACM Panel Installer)

• Read and work from architectural plans, elevations, approved shop drawings, and panel layout and tag maps; verify panel numbers against the install sequence before setting.
• Install subgirt, hat channel, z-furring, and extruded clip attachment systems over sheathing, metal stud, CMU, or concrete.
• Establish and hold control lines and benchmarks; keep panels plumb, level, and reveals consistent using laser and string line.
• Field-fabricate as needed — route and return, brake, notch, corner and column covers, and stiffener attachment.
• Set perimeter flashings, closures, and transitions; coordinate with the air and weather barrier and waterproofing scope.
• Wet-seal joints with backer rod and sealant, or set gaskets and dry joints per the approved system.
• Fasten with tek screws, rivets, and anchors appropriate to the substrate.
• Coordinate daily with other trades in the work area — framing, waterproofing, glazing, roofing, and electrical — on access, hoisting, and lift sharing.
• Uncrate, stage, protect, and handle panels to prevent scratching, denting, and oil canning.
• Work safely from scissor lifts, boom lifts, swing stage, or mast climber.

What You Need

• Two or more years installing exterior ACM/MCM or systemized metal panels on commercial projects.
• Able to read plans and shop drawings and work from them independently in the field. This is a requirement, not a preference.
• Experience with a named panel system such as Alucobond, Reynobond, ALPOLIC, Citadel, or equivalent.
• Eligible to work on FDOT and federal jobsites — able to pass background screening, drug screening, and site badging or credentialing.
• OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred; fall protection and aerial lift familiarity.
• Available for occasional night shifts and weekend work when the project schedule requires it. The scope runs primarily on day shift.
• Own hand tools, reliable transportation, and the ability to be on site on time every day.
• Able to lift 50 to 75 pounds, work at heights, and work outdoors in South Florida conditions.
• Miami-Dade NOA and high velocity hurricane zone jobsite experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Leer y trabajar con planos arquitectónicos, elevaciones, planos de taller aprobados y mapas de distribución e identificación de paneles; verificar el número de panel contra la secuencia antes de instalar.
• Instalar subgirt, hat channel, perfiles Z y sistemas de clips de aluminio extruido sobre sheathing, estructura metálica, bloque o concreto.
• Establecer y mantener líneas de control y puntos de referencia; mantener los paneles a plomo, a nivel y con reveals parejos usando láser y línea de cuerda.
• Fabricar en campo según se requiera — ruteado y doblado, dobleces en brake, muescas, esquinas, forros de columna y refuerzos (stiffeners).
• Instalar flashings de perímetro, cierres y transiciones; coordinar con la barrera de aire y agua y con impermeabilización.
• Sellar juntas con backer rod y sellador, o instalar empaques y juntas secas según el sistema aprobado.
• Sujetar con tornillos tek, remaches y anclajes apropiados para cada sustrato.
• Coordinar diariamente con los demás oficios en el área de trabajo — estructura, impermeabilización, vidriería, techos y eléctrico — el acceso, el izaje y el uso compartido de elevadores.
• Desempacar, acomodar, proteger y manejar los paneles para evitar rayones, golpes y ondulación (oil canning).
• Trabajar de forma segura desde elevadores de tijera, canastas (boom lift), andamio colgante o andamio de mástil.

Requisitos

• Dos años o más instalando paneles exteriores ACM/MCM o paneles metálicos sistematizados en proyectos comerciales.
• Capacidad de leer planos y planos de taller y trabajar con ellos de forma independiente en campo. Es un requisito, no una preferencia.
• Experiencia con un sistema de panel reconocido como Alucobond, Reynobond, ALPOLIC, Citadel o equivalente.
• Elegible para trabajar en proyectos de FDOT y proyectos federales — capacidad de pasar verificación de antecedentes, prueba antidoping y el proceso de credencial de acceso al proyecto.
• OSHA 10 requerido, OSHA 30 preferido; conocimiento de protección contra caídas y uso de elevadores aéreos.
• Disponibilidad para turnos nocturnos ocasionales y trabajo en fin de semana cuando el programa del proyecto lo requiera. El trabajo es principalmente en turno de día.
• Herramienta de mano propia, transporte confiable y puntualidad diaria en la obra.
