Aircraft Maintenance Assistant

Looking for a dependable Aircraft Maintenance Assistant to help experienced A&P mechanics with aircraft maintenance and general hangar duties. Location: Birchwood; with summer seasonal operations in the Denali Park area. Schedule: Typically 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 40+ hours/week, 10-hour days. Must be available for nights and weekends during scheduled shifts. Duties include: Assist A&P mechanics with aircraft maintenance and repairs, Aircraft washing and detailing, Clean and organize hangars, tools, equipment, and work areas, General hangar maintenance and snow removal and other maintenance/support duties as needed.
Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Physically able to bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, etc., Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and participate in required random testing, Mechanical or aviation experience is a plus.
