Alterations tailor seamstress needed @ Dry Cleaners

We are looking for an experienced tailor/seamstress to work at Top Cleaners & Alterations. We are a family owned business that has been providing excellent service for over 20 years. We are located in North Natomas.

Pay will be commission based on all work performed. It will equal to a minimum of $20 per hour and up to $30 per hour depending on skill and speed. Commission based means earning a portion of all charged work to customer. Pay is not hourly. For example we charge a customer $100 to alter a dress - you would earn a portion of that when finished altering the dress. Fast skilled tailors will make a higher hourly wage.

We don't allow tailors to take work home.

No English necessary but basic communication is necessary.

We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates.

We have all necessary equipment onsite.

Experience with the following alterations mandatory:

Shirts

-Shorten Sleeves

-Taper Body and Sleeves

Pants

-Basic and Original Hemming

-Hem with lining and/or cuffs -Replace Zippers (Jackets/Pants/Skirts) -Take in/Take out Waist

-Tapering Pant Leg

-Shorten Crotch

-Patching

Blazer- Taper on Back Seams and Pocket Seams

-Shorten Shoulder

-Shorten Back

-Shorten Sleeves- basic and through arm hole

Dress/Skirt

-Hemming

-Take in or Take out

-Replace Zipper

-Shorten Straps
