HANDYMAN / APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN WANTED

Boca Raton Area
We are looking for a responsible, hardworking individual to perform maintenance work at an apartment community in the Boca Raton area.
This is a stable, long-term opportunity for someone with experience in apartment maintenance and unit turnovers.
PAY
$25 per hour
$30 per hour if you have an EPA certification and experience working with air-conditioning systems, including troubleshooting, handling refrigerant (Freon), and recharging systems
Consistent, steady work for the right person
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to communicate with residents who speak English and Spanish
Must live near the property, preferably in one of the following areas:
Boca Raton
Delray Beach
East Boynton Beach
East Pompano area
Must have a truck or van large enough to transport materials such as water heaters
Must have your own basic tools
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Basic Electrical
Switches
Outlets
Light fixtures and lighting
Basic electrical troubleshooting
Basic Plumbing
Water heaters
Toilets
Faucets
Shower valves

Air Conditioning — Required to Qualify for $30/Hour

Current EPA certification
Experience working with refrigerant (Freon)
Ability to diagnose air-conditioning problems
Experience recharging A/C systems
Replacing capacitors
Diagnosing fuses and electrical shorts

General Maintenance

Drywall repair
Complete interior painting
Apartment turnovers
Cleaning common areas and vacant apartments when necessary
