Apartment maintenace/repair tech
Description
This is for several apartment buildings in the Cincinnati area. Task examples:
- Faucet and drain leaks, unclogging of drains, toilet valves.
- Basic electrical (swap out bad outlets, switch or light fixtures).
- Door locks, handles, hinges.
- Wall repair/painting.
- Trash and litter management.
- About 3 years experience with typical apartment maintenance and repair tasks. Use of basic hand tools, small power tools.
- Occasionally lift heavy items. Comfortable climbing an occasional ladder up a few feet, to perhaps about 20 feet.
- Occasionally move a fridge or a stove up/down stairs with an appliance dolly, some trash management.
- Ability to troubleshoot a problem, formulate a solution or repair path, retrieve parts, complete repair
- Good customer relations (residents of the apartments)
- Get along with other employees.
- Can simultaneously put in an honest work day, often working mostly alone, while also taking direction and accepting work feedback.
- Excellent communication. Ability to use phone for calls, texting, taking phone camera pics, use of app for job tracking, etc.
- Ability to reliably track work on a time sheet for both company billing, and for payroll purposes.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- A personal toolbox of basic hand tools.
- Clean background, drug free, minimal personal drama, minimal disruption during work days.
