APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

This is a temporary contractor position with possible temp to hire opportunity.

These positions are not guaranteed permanent jobs. Candidates must show up consistently, communicate professionally, work hard, understand basic maintenance, and be a solid team player in order to remain on assignment and be considered for hire by the property.

AJ Employment Services is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician for apartment communities throughout the San Diego area.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Completing maintenance work orders
• Assisting with apartment turns and make readies
• Basic drywall and painting
• Minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• General apartment and home repair tasks
• Helping maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property

Requirements:

• Previous apartment maintenance or home repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation required
• Must have your own basic hand tools
• Ability to work independently and stay productive

Required basic tools include:

• Screwdrivers
• Pliers
• Wrench set
• Channel locks
• Drill
• Basic hand tools used in apartment maintenance

This is not an entry level position for somebody with zero experience. We’re looking for somebody dependable who can come in ready to work and contribute immediately.
