Apartment Maintenance Technician

HIRING! MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to assist an Apartment Community in Jacksonville, FL to perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

-Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems
-Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general facility issues
-Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns
-Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they result in downtime
-Complete basic repairs and replace worn or damaged parts as needed
-Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
-Follow all safety procedures and company policies
-Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized

Qualifications

-Previous maintenance, facilities, or mechanical experience preferred
-Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
-Ability to troubleshoot and complete general repairs
-Comfortable using hand and power tools
-Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance requests
-Strong attention to safety and detail
-Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical work throughout the shift
-Must be eligible to work in the United States and have valid Driver's License
