Apartment Maintenance Technician

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Full Time (40 hours a week) Maintenance Technician for a 136 unit property in El Cajon, CA
JOB SUMMARY: Performs unit turnovers and work orders that will include but not limited to:
· Plumbing (Angle stops, P-traps, faucets, valves, snaking, toilets, dishwashers, garbage disposals, caulking, brazing, etc.)
· Electrical (replacing Outlets, GFCIs, switches, ceiling fans, etc.)
· Painting and drywall
· Appliance troubleshooting/installation to include garbage disposals, dishwashers, Window A/C units, etc.
· Repairing/installing blinds
· Repairing/installing screens doors and window screens
· Repairing/installing doors, sliding closet doors, etc.
· Fixture repairs and or replacements
· Installing dishwashers and stoves
· Installing cabinets
· Touch up painting
· General Maintenance
· Grounds keeping during downtime or as needed
· Occasionally pickup materials/supplies
· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and climb ladders
· Be able to answering after hour calls and attend to emergencies on a rotation.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum 4 years of apartment / service tech experience preferred as stated in the summary
· Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Possess a reliable vehicle, automobile insurance and a valid drivers license as a condition of job
· Good communication skills

· Organized
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Must pass background check and pre-employment drug test
