Apartment Maintenance Technician

Evergreen Maintenance is a growing maintenance company serving multifamily and commercial properties throughout the Seattle area. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality work and wants to grow with a supportive, team-oriented company. Complete general maintenance repairs at apartment communities and commercial properties throughout the Seattle area.
Travel between properties as needed to complete work orders and support maintenance operations.
Perform apartment turns, including painting, cleaning, and make-ready work.
Maintain curb appeal through landscaping, groundskeeping, and exterior upkeep.
Diagnose and complete routine plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and other maintenance repairs.
Complete preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
Perform daily property inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
Maintain accurate work orders and communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
Follow all company policies and applicable safety regulations.
Qualifications

Experience in apartment maintenance, general maintenance, handyman work, or a related trade preferred.
Painting experience would be wonderful!
Landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and basic computer programs.
Requirements

Valid Washington driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable personal vehicle required to travel between properties throughout the Seattle area.
Mileage reimbursement is provided for all business-related travel.
Must provide your own basic hand tools. Specialty tools and equipment are provided by the company.
Current automobile insurance.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and safely perform physical work, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Participation in an on-call rotation is required. All hours worked while on-call are paid at double your regular hourly rate.
