Apprentice Carpenter

Now Hiring an Apprentice Carpenter with finish carpentry experience who wants to learn a specialized commercial installation trade. This is NOT framing or production carpentry. We install commercial window shades, blinds, and drapery systems in offices, schools, hospitals, laboratories, apartment buildings, and other commercial construction projects throughout San Diego County.

If you're someone who takes pride in clean, precise work and understands that accuracy matters more than speed, we'd like to talk to you.

What You'll Be Doing

Install commercial window shades, blinds, and drapery systems.
Read construction drawings and installation layouts.
Measure openings and verify dimensions before installation.
Install mounting brackets into wood, metal studs, drywall, masonry, and concrete.
Use laser levels and measuring tools to ensure precise alignment.
Learn production techniques with the goal of installing 20-30 window shade systems per day while maintaining excellent quality.
