Apprentice Carpenter Wanted - 2+ Years Experience Required!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is an Apprentice Carpenter position for individuals with a minimum of two (2) years of construction experience who are eager to further develop their carpentry skills. You will work under the guidance of skilled carpenters and assist with various phases of construction, including residential remodels, additions, home repairs, and light commercial projects. Tasks include measuring, cutting, assembling materials, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Must speak and read English
-Minimum two (2) years of hands-on construction experience required.
-Strong willingness to learn and grow in the trade
-Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
-Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
-Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation
-Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 75 lbs
-Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
-Positive attitude and commitment to craftsmanship
-Applicants must possess essential hand and power tools such as a tape measure, hammer, speed square, drill, circular saw, and a tool belt. Additional tools are a plus
-High School diploma or equivalent
-MUST BE LEGALLY AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES AND PROVIDE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS UPON HIRE!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assist lead carpenters with installation and construction tasks
-Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials
-Operate hand and power tools safely (saws, drills, sanders)
-Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Follow all safety protocols and workplace policies
