Apprentice Electrician

We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Electrician. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in electrical systems installation and maintenance within commercial construction environments. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in electrical wiring, conduit bending, blueprint reading, and safety procedures. Duties

Assist senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on commercial sites.
Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure proper system installation.
Participate in conduit bending and electrical wiring tasks following established safety protocols and industry standards.
.Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot and verify electrical circuits.
Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Assist in the inspection, testing, and commissioning of commercial electrical systems to ensure operational integrity.

Skills

Strong interest in electrical work with a willingness to learn technical skills related to commercial electrical systems.
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, conduit bending, and electrical wiring techniques.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
Understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements for safe electrical installations.
Familiarity with low voltage systems and general electrical safety procedures on construction sites.
Experience or exposure to industrial or construction site environments is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to adhering to safety protocols are essential for success in this role.
