Apprentice/General Service Auto Technician

Responsibilities

Assist with routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, tire service, and basic inspections
Support the team in performing minor mechanical repairs and diagnostics on standard passenger cars
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform mechanical repairs and maintenance procedures
Help with wheel alignments, brake inspections, and other automotive service tasks under supervision
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Learn to identify mechanical issues through diagnostics and assist in troubleshooting vehicle problems
Support vehicle servicing including automotive fluid replacement, tire rotations, and general maintenance activities
Experience

Dealership experience or previous mechanic experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and basic automotive diagnostics is advantageous
Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance is highly valued
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
Excellent customer service skills are appreciated as you'll be working alongside technicians and supporting team members in delivering quality service
Prior exposure to automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and minor mechanical repairs will help you succeed in this role
