Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Custom Cabinet Maker to join our growing team. If you are passionate about fine woodworking, take pride in precision craftsmanship, and enjoy building high-end one of a kind cabinetry, we'd like to meet you.
Our shop specializes in premium residential and commercial cabinetry where attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship are the foundation of everything we build. We are seeking someone who values producing exceptional work from start to finish.
Responsibilities
-Build and assemble custom cabinetry to exact specifications.
-Interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and production details.
-Machine, fit, assemble, and prepare cabinet components with exceptional accuracy.
-Install drawer boxes, doors, hardware, slides, hinges, and specialty accessories.
-Work with hardwoods, plywood, veneers, laminates, and other premium materials.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
-Collaborate with the production team to ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
-3+ years of experience building custom cabinetry.
-Strong knowledge of cabinet construction methods and woodworking techniques.
-Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
-Experience operating woodworking equipment including table saws, panel saws, edgebanders, routers, shapers, and sanding equipment.
-Excellent measuring, fitting, and assembly skills.
-High attention to detail with a commitment to producing furniture-quality cabinetry.
-Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
-Experience with face-frame/inset cabinet construction.
-Knowledge of cabinet hardware systems such as Blum, Salice, Grass, or Häfele.
-Ability to troubleshoot and solve production challenges efficiently.
