Role Description

Throne is seeking a talented and experienced service technician who will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs that address electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or construction related issues. As a field technician in the Bay Area, you will provide on-the-job support to other technicians, prioritize daily tasks, and assist with training & onboarding of new technicians. This role requires a strong background in plumbing, electrical work, construction basics, and remodeling, along with specific abilities such as reading electrical schematics and testing electrical components.

What You’ll Do

Identify, troubleshoot, and repair Thrones on-site as issues arise.
Prioritize and assign tasks to yourself, and other field service technicians.
Utilize your expertise in plumbing to repair or replace components such as pipes, fittings, faucets, and toilets as needed.
Apply your knowledge of electrical systems to diagnose and resolve problems related to wiring, circuits, switches, and control panels.
Interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to guide installations, repairs, and upgrades of electrical components.
Conduct voltage, continuity, and current tests on electrical components to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to provide feedback on product improvements and enhancements based on field experience.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, replacements, and inspections.

What You’ll Bring

Required
A minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical work, construction basics, or remodeling.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
Demonstrated ability to use tools and equipment properly and safely.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
Knowledge of testing procedures for electrical components, including voltage, continuity, and current tests.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work on weekends or outside of regular business hours as needed.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Nice to have
Certification or license in plumbing, electrical work, or a related field.
Experience working with smart technologies or IoT (Internet of Things) devices.
Prior experience in the portable sanitation industry.
