Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Asbestos Certified Labor to join our environmental remediation team. In this vital role, you will assist with asbestos abatement projects, ensuring safe and compliant removal of hazardous materials. Your expertise will contribute to creating healthier environments by adhering to strict safety standards and environmental regulations. Duties

Assist with asbestos abatement and removal projects, following all OSHA safety standards and environmental regulatory requirements
Use hand tools and specialized equipment to safely handle hazardous materials, including asbestos-containing materials (ACMs)
Support asbestos inspection and decontamination procedures to ensure proper containment and disposal of hazardous substances
Implement hazardous materials handling safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators and protective suits
Follow asbestos decontamination procedures to prevent cross-contamination during project completion
Assist with demolition, restoration, and mold remediation tasks as needed within project sites
Maintain accurate documentation of hazardous materials handling activities in compliance with environmental regulations
Requirements

Completion of asbestos abatement training and certification in accordance with industry standards
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and environmental compliance standards
Experience working with hand tools, demolition equipment, and hazardous materials handling safety protocols
Familiarity with asbestos inspection, abatement procedures, and environmental regulatory compliance processes
Ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines, including respiratory protection and PPE use at all times
Construction experience or background in restoration or mold remediation is a plus
Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work effectively in team environments
