ASE AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC (Hilo Kilauea Location)

Are you READY to become part of our Lex Brodie's Ohana in Hilo! Lex Brodie's Tire is seeking a full time ASE Certified Automotive Technician. We are considering technicians with proven abilities and experience, a desire to keep up with the latest trends in technology, the willingness to learn our shop processes, and a positive attitude. We desire someone that is able to work independently as well as part of our team. Pay based on skill level and you must have your own tools.

Required:
-Current ASE Certifications
-Current Driver's License
-3-5 years experience in auto repair industry
-Your own Tools and Tool Box

Essential Job Functions:
1. Regular attendance.
2. Ability to balance workload in rapid pace environment.
3. Ability to communicate and cooperatively work with customers and co-workers.
4. Ability to access, input and retrieve information from the computer.
5. Ability to mount, dismount and spin balance tires. Test, charge and install batteries, use and read air pressure gauge, and operate tire machines such as a tire spreader, buffer, changer, spin balancer, jacks, lifts and air guns. We will train the right candidate.
6. Ability to test drive customer vehicles and operate company vehicles.
7. Ability to work in an environment with odors, dust and fumes.
8. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
9. Ability lift 75lbs.

ASE ENTRY-LEVEL TECHNICIAN - $25.00-$26.00/Hour – Entails having current, non-expired ASE certifications in 1-2 ASE certifications in the A4 (Suspension/Steering) and/or the A5 (Brakes) categories. To maintain pay, all certifications must be upkept and current at all times. Proficiency and desire to perform all work described in the A4 and/or A5 certifications. Also assisting in tire replacements, flat repairs, safety inspections and LOFs as needed. Minimum two (2) years of mechanical (shop) work experience is required. Pre-Requisite: Basic Training Certification, T.I.A. Certification, Safety Check License

ASE MID-LEVEL TECHNICIAN - $27.00-$33.00/Hour – Entails having current, non-expired ASE certifications in 3-7 ASE certifications. To maintain pay, all certifications must be upkept and current at all times. Proficiency and desire to perform all work described in those 3-7 certifications. Also assisting in tire replacements, flat repairs, safety inspections and LOFs as needed. Pre-Requisite: Safety Check License
