We're Building the Highest-Paying Non-Union Asphalt Team in Ohio.

Asphalt Services of Ohio (ASO) is growing, and we're looking for experienced asphalt professionals to join our Paving and Prep Crews.

If you have previous asphalt paving, asphalt prep, grading, milling, or heavy equipment experience, we want to talk to you.

We're making a major investment in our field employees with the goal of attracting and retaining some of the best asphalt professionals in the industry. We are currently hiring experienced laborers, rakers/lute personnel, equipment operators, developing operators, and foremen for both our Paving and Prep Crews.

Positions & Pay

Laborer I — $28–$30/hr

For candidates with construction or asphalt experience who are continuing to develop their skills within paving and prep operations.

Laborer II — $30–$33/hr

Experienced asphalt or construction laborers who understand jobsite operations and can contribute independently to paving, grading, prep work, and production.

Operator Apprentice — $32–$36/hr

For candidates with some equipment experience who want to become full-time equipment operators. You'll continue working alongside the crew while receiving opportunities to operate and develop your skills on equipment.

Skilled Laborer / Raker — $34–$38/hr

Experienced asphalt professionals skilled in raking/luting, handwork, fine grading, paving operations, and maintaining quality and production.

Equipment Operator I — $38–$42/hr

Experienced operators capable of independently operating equipment such as rollers, skid steers, loaders, mini excavators, brooms, and other paving or prep equipment.

Equipment Operator II — $42–$46/hr

Highly experienced, versatile operators capable of running multiple pieces of equipment such as pavers, milling machines, skid steers, loaders, excavators, dozers, and other paving or grading equipment with minimal supervision.

Paving & Prep Foremen — $46–$52/hr

Experienced asphalt leaders capable of running a paving or prep crew, managing daily production, maintaining quality and safety standards, coordinating employees and equipment, and communicating professionally with customers, GCs, and project management.
