Asphalt Laborer/Driver

Responsibilities:
- We are currently seeking a general construction laborer to assist asphalt and civil crews.
-Working knowledge of general labor skills

• Assisting asphalt crew shoveling, cleaning the jobsite and loading/unloading materials and equipment.
• Ensures that job sites and staging areas are kept safe, clean and organized.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using a variety of power and hand tools.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 100 pounds and over.
• Experience in the safe and effective use of a hand shovel required.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
• Communicate with supervisors and project managers regarding progress and any issues that arise

Skills/Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience working in construction
• Ability to lift 100lbs.
• Valid driver's license is required for this position
• Clean 3-year driving record is required

Pay:
$18 - $22/hour, based on experience
