Description
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Assembler who takes pride in producing high-quality work. If you've worked in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment where accuracy matters, we'd like to hear from you. This is an active, hands-on position that requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday. Employees should be comfortable working in a warehouse setting where production schedules and teamwork are essential to meeting project deadlines.
Hours:
Mon–Fri, 6:45AM–3:30PM. Occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
Pay:
Starting at $20/hr and up DOE. Benefits available after probation period.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing final quality inspections on completed signs
- Reviewing work orders, shop drawings, message schedules, and production documents
- Verifying dimensions, layouts, colors, finishes, mounting methods, and hardware
- Identifying scratches, defects, missing components, or assembly errors
- Assembling signs using adhesives, studs, screws, tape, and other mounting hardware
- Working with fabrication and production teams to resolve quality issues
- Cleaning, labeling, packaging, and staging completed projects
- Maintaining an organized and safe work area
- Supporting continuous improvement and helping prevent recurring production issues
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, quality control, or a related production environment.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment.
- Previous experience in one or more of the following industries: signage, millwork, cabinetry, aerospace, medical devices, electronics assembly, exhibit fabrication, commercial printing, retail fixtures, metal fabrication, acrylic fabrication, or similar precision manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, shop drawings, assembly instructions, or production documents.
- Must be able to read and comprehend written English, as all work orders, shop drawings, schematics, and production documents are provided in English.
- Experience performing quality inspections and identifying defects, inconsistencies, or missing components before final shipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards while meeting production deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production, fabrication, and project teams.
- Must be dependable with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent attendance record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete I-9 employment verification.
