Assembly Technician @ Maritime Robotics Company - $71-80k - San Diego

Seasats builds unmanned surface vessels (USVs) that operate at sea for months at a time. As we continue to grow production, we're looking for skilled Assembly Technicians to join our production team.

As an integral member of our assembly team, you will work hands-on to assemble, test and install components for our boats. Your attention to detail, proficiency with tools, and ability to troubleshoot will play a key role in ensuring the high standards of quality and performance that Seasats is known for.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Assemble and install mechanical and electrical components on our boats
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment
• Read and work from technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Inspect and test components to make sure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and work with engineers to resolve them
• Document completed work and help improve our assembly processes
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in assembly, mechanical technician work, or a similar hands-on role
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team

**Experience with composites, fine carpentry, electrical assembly, or manufacturing environments is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Perks:

• $71,000-$80,000, depending on experience
