Description
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager and Administer of Construction.
Locations: Phoenix, Arizona.
We are a residential and commercial construction management company, in the valley for over 30 years
We specialize in quality residential and commercial executive TI’s, and Ground-up projects. Our office is located in North Phoenix, and our projects are throughout Arizona.
The Position:
Assistant Project Manager and administrator to expedite and complete primarily residential construction projects on time and within the budget. To present yourself in a professional manner, and communicate with owners through-out the projects. Have an eye for design, colors and buying.
- Reviewing take offs, reviewing submittals and purchase orders..
- Communicate with the project team regarding Daily logs, & RFI’s, documentation as needed.
- Ensure that subcontractors are fully complying with their contracted scope of work.
- Maintain a daily log of activities using software.
- Walk the project as requested/needed to monitor activities, quality control, and review two week outlooks planning.
- Attend weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work as needed.
- Notify Project Manager of non-compliance of subcontractors in regards to quality of work, safety or scheduling.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. The employee is required to work on active projects and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. The position is required to be in all types of conditions and weather.
A Team player, comfortable with technology, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, strengths with residential homes, have dependable transportation to and from projects as needed, a dependable phone, Microsoft programs and communication skills.
- Must be able to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules for construction.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
A possible background, DMV records and drug testing may be requested.
