Diamond Plumbing and Diamond Home Pros are family owned home services companies in Hollywood, FL, serving Miami-Dade and Broward since 1999. We do plumbing installs and service, plus water damage restoration, mold remediation and reconstruction.

The role

The Assistant Project Manager supports our install department and keeps jobs moving. You don't assign crews or set the schedule. You help the people who do, and you report to our Co-Founder.

Three things are fully yours: talking to customers, coordinating subcontractors, and getting materials where they need to be. That often means doing the material runs yourself.

This is a full time, hands on job with long hours. Expect early starts, late finishes and a lot of driving between supply houses and job sites.

What you own

• Customer communication: keep every customer updated from start to finish (arrival times, progress, delays, next steps) and handle their questions and concerns
• Subcontractors: schedule and coordinate subs, and make sure they show up and know the scope
• Materials: order materials, pick them up, and get them to job sites; keep stock and tools organized

What you assist with

• Scheduling and dispatching install jobs
• Crew assignments
• Job site check ins and daily updates
• Photos and video on every job
• Collecting payment and asking for reviews
• Permit and inspection tasks in the field
• Keeping job notes up to date in our system

What we're looking for

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Experience in construction, trades, restoration or home services
• Great with people: patient and respectful with customers and crews
• Organized, reliable, and follows through
• Valid Florida driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Fine with long days and lots of driving
