With 13 state-of-the-art locations throughout El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties, we are committed to providing high-quality repairs and outstanding customer service.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Auto Body Detailer to join our Rocklin team. This position is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and detailing customer vehicles following collision repairs and ensuring each vehicle is presented in pristine condition before delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Detailing: Perform complete interior and exterior detailing, including washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and removing dust and debris.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect completed vehicles for remaining dirt, damage, or imperfections and ensure they meet Kniesel's Collision's quality standards.
- Cosmetic Touch-Ups: Perform minor cosmetic enhancements, including paint touch-ups, headlight polishing, and blemish correction.
- Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with team members to ensure vehicles are returned to customers in excellent condition.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe detailing area and keep tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Technical Assistance: Assist repair technicians with masking, taping, sanding, and other vehicle preparation tasks as needed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor detailing supplies and notify management when products or tools need to be replenished.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Production Manager or General Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive detailing or related experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of automotive cleaning products and procedures.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
