Job description:
Estimators at Addison Auto take the file from cradle to grave. Writing a good thorough front end estimate leads to smaller supps and faster cycle time with happier individuals across the board (insurance, customer, techs, management).
Estimators follow a daily schedule to meet customers at repair drop, write estimates as scheduled, complete supplements with technicians, all while updating customers and interfacing with insurance. This position requires at least 2 years of estimating experience. Addison is looking for estimators with experience with the following DRP's (State Farm, CSAA, Liberty Mutual, Safeco, Esurance).
This position would report to the Body Shop manager but will work with parts department, and technicians so we need a team player attitude who can exhibit the flexibility to do what is necessary to achieve goals of the our program quality repairs in a timely fashion with deeply updated customers.
Our collision shop has been around for over 25 years. We operate off a base of repeat customers and aggressive Direct Repair Programs (DRP's) to keep us busy all year round.

Required Experience
- 2+ years of prior experience as a collision estimator or insurance appraiser (preferential consideration to applicants with over more experience)
- Experience with collision management systems (CCC1, ABSe, Audatex, Mitchell)
- Familiarity with various Insurance protocols preferred
- DRP experience required
- I-Car training or other industry training preferred
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Must be customer focused and quality driven
- Requires strong organizational skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
