Auto Mechanic

We are a highly respected, busy, family owned and operated business who take pride in quality service to our customers. We are looking for a full time mechanic with 5 years experience to work on foreign or domestic cars & light trucks. ASE certification(s) a plus but not mandatory. This is full time Mon - Fri, no weekend work, hourly NOT flat rate position. Hourly rate based on experience. Responsibilities include

Diagnose and repair vehicles (foreign or domestic)
Use scan tools and other diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose issues.
Perform brake, suspension, steering, and general automotive repairs.
Service and repair automotive A/C systems.
Perform routine maintenance services and vehicle inspections.
Document repair recommendations and completed work accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe & organized work environment.
Work collaboratively with team members to provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Preferred Graduate of an automotive technical college or equivalent training preferred.
5 years of automotive repair experience (internship or shop), ASE certification(s) a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
Experience using scan tools and modern diagnostic equipment.
Must own personal automotive tools.
Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a good driving record.
Honest, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.
Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning and developing technical skills.
Ability to work independently
