Auto Mechanic

Busy Upper East Side repair and body shop needs an experienced automobile mechanic. We are an independent auto repair center that has been in business for over 40 years, located in NYC. We are close to the 4, 5, and 6 trains and the Q train. It is easy to get here from the Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn.
Candidate must have:
· 5+ years’ experience in auto repair.
· Tool collection for both foreign and domestic cars.
· Expierence with assembly and dissassembly for bodywork is helpful.
· Computer diagnostic experience, especially with check engine lights. Shop uses Snap-On diagnostic equipment.
· Valid Driver’s License.
· Ability to diagnosis and repair all auto mechanical problems.
· NYS Inspector's License required.
· ASE or I-Car certifications are a plus. Prior experience at a dealership is helpful.
