Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and customer service are highly valued. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards using advanced tools and techniques.

Duties

Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, brakes, and steering.
Repair and replace components such as ADAS systems, gasoline engines, and other mechanical parts utilizing hand tools and power tools.
Perform wheel alignments and wheel balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used in compliance with dealership standards..
Adhere to safety protocols while working around automotive electrical systems and heavy machinery.
Requirements

Proven mechanic experience with dealership background preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems.
Experience repairing gasoline engines and working with powertrain components.
Familiarity with ADAS technology, alignment procedures, and auto body repair is advantageous.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding equipment.
Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures across various makes.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail.
Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.

Will have own bay
VA state inspector license or ability to obtain is a plus.

Pay will be determined based off of the following tech levels:

A-Level Technician (Master Tech): Highly experienced, typically 5+ years, capable of complex diagnostics, engine repairs, and electronics without assistance. Often Master ASE Certified. $26-$32 per hour

B-Level Technician (Intermediate Tech): Experienced technician (roughly 2–5 years) able to handle standard repairs like brakes, suspension, and some diagnostics independently, but may need help with advanced issues. $20-$26 per hour

C-Level Technician (Entry-Level/Lube Tech): Beginner, often specializing in maintenance services like oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections, working under supervision.
$16-$20 per hour.
