Auto Mechanic Wanted — Junior/Journeyman Level — Poway, CA

We're a well-established auto repair shop in the Poway area adding a mechanic to our team. You'll work alongside an experienced senior mechanic, so whether you're a couple years in and looking to sharpen your skills or already working fairly independently, there's room to grow here. What you'll do:

-Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires, tune-ups, filters)
-Diagnose and repair a range of vehicle makes and models
-Conduct inspections and communicate findings clearly
-Handle moderate-complexity electrical, engine, suspension, and drivetrain repairs, with support from our senior mechanic on the tougher jobs
-Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized

What we're looking for:

-1-5 years of hands-on auto repair experience (formal training plus some shop experience preferred)
-Comfortable with hand tools and at least some exposure to diagnostic equipment
-Able to work with a reasonable degree of independence
-Must have your own basic hand tools
-Valid driver's license with a clean record
-Reliable, punctual, and a team player
