We are looking for an automotive lead technician, with the growing complexity of today's vehicles we are looking for someone with vast knowledge in automotive diagnostics as well as a person who can still wrench on vehicles. We have a very modern facility with the most update hardware to do your job. We have multiple dealer level scan tools and use a digital system for our vehicle inspections. Technician compensation will be based on your experience and we also have performance based incentives for our technicians. Technicians daily duties will include:

Check vehicles to ensure compliance with New York state inspection requirements
Perform routine automotive maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges ect.
Identify existing and potential vehicle malfunctions and issues
Perform services efficiently and properly
Follow maintenance guide and recommend future repairs and services that are due
Use of our tablet based multi-point inspection forms and repair order tickets. We are the very few if not the only independent shops that use this format
Know and understand the use of scan tools.
General repairs such as brakes, front end, tune up, ect.
Must be able to diagnose electrical systems
Must be able to work in an organized manor and CLEAN !!!
Automotive Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Vocational or post secondary program completion preferred
ASE Certification is preferred but not required
Minimum 5 years of previous experience in the related role
Must have NYS inspectors license
Must have Clean and valid driver’s license
Must have hand tools and tool box
Specialty tools and generic/factory scanners are provided by shop.
