John Kamal Cars is a buy-here-pay-here dealership in Southwest Houston. We sell 35-50 cars a month and every one goes through our shop before it hits the front line. The work keeps coming. We need one more Level B technician who can start this week.
WHAT YOU EARN
- Level B: $27-$34 an hour flag rate, by experience
- Level A techs (engine, transmission, electrical diagnostics unassisted): $32-$38 an hour flag rate
- Paid weekly, every Friday
- Steady year-round work, 40 hours, no slow season

- Brakes, suspension, steering, AC, oil and general maintenance on your own
- Run diagnostic scans, read fault codes, fix what you find
- Step up on harder diagnostic and repair jobs with the Service Director
- Recondition used inventory to front-line ready, every day
- Keep your bay clean and your repair orders complete
- Full time: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-6 PM, Saturday 9 AM-2 PM, Sunday off
WHAT WE NEED
- 2+ years hands-on as an automotive technician
- Your own hand tools (we supply lifts, scan tools and specialty tools)
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Shows up on time, every day. That is most of the job.
- ASE certifications
- Texas state inspector license
- Spanish and English
