Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Auto Upholstery Trimmer with a passion for classic cars and custom interiors. You will be responsible for taking interior projects from bare metal to complete finish, including custom seats, door panels, headliners, and trunk enclosures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, pattern, cut, and sew custom leather, vinyl, and carpet interiors.
• Construct custom seat foam, bolsters, and door panel boards/sculpting.
• Install headliners, carpets, trunks, and trim pieces with precise fitment.
• Operate commercial sewing machines and upholstery tools.
• Work closely with the metal and paint teams to ensure seamless fit and finish.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automotive upholstery (custom/hot rod experience preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of patterning, sewing, and custom fabrication techniques.
• High attention to detail and pride in clean, precise work.
• Ability to troubleshoot custom fitment issues on vintage bodies.
• Must have a portfolio or photos of past work.
