Autobody Mechanic

NO NIGHTS!! NO WEEKENDS!! PAID WEEKLY!!!

We are looking to add an auto mechanic to our team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, install brakes, muffler work, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, battery installations, mount and balance new tires, headlight/taillight installations and more.
Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic equipment
Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged components
Align and balance wheels to ensure proper vehicle handling
Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
Inspect vehicles according to the state’s requirements for emissions and safety
Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a valid NYS inspectors license
Must have valid drivers license
Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc
Two years of experience as a vehicle mechanic or apprentice.
Must have your own tools
Must be reliable
Monday through Friday
