In search of a A-Tech
- Examines, Identifies damages and efficiently plans repair process.
- Perform non-structural, structural and frame repairs, including pulling, straightening, measuring, and correcting unibody and full-frame vehicles.
- Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
- Performs quality repairs while keeping cycle time in mind.
- Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders.
- Welds, Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
- Review every line item of each vehicle's repair order and inspect every vehicle to insure that all the repairs are complete
- Proper pre-fit and fit of replacement parts and components.
- Work closely with estimators, painters, and management to keep repairs moving efficiently through production.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and procedures performed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow all shop safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Ability to use frame and measuring machine.
- Certification in body repair preferred, Steel Sectioning & Steel Welding.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
- I-CAR welding certified.
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
- Must be able to pass thorough background check
