Job Description
Busy, well-established auto repair shop is looking for a skilled Automotive Diagnostic Specialist to join our team immediately. If you love solving the tricky mechanical and electrical problems that leave other mechanics scratching their heads, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
Accurately diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and driveability issues on a wide variety of makes and models.
Use advanced diagnostic tools: scan tools, oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
Communicate clearly with the shop manager, other technicians and customers.
Perform high-quality repairs based on your diagnoses.
What We’re Looking For
Bilingual (required): fluent English and Spanish, to serve our customers and coordinate with the team.
Proven experience: at least 5 years as an automotive diagnostic technician or master mechanic.
Advanced knowledge: electrical systems, engine performance, OBD-II and vehicle networks (CAN bus).
Certifications: ASE certifications are a big plus, but proven skill and experience matter most.
Basics: valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
