AUTOMOTIVE MACHINIST

Atomic Motors is seeking an experienced Automotive Machinist to join our growing team. We specialize in classic, muscle, exotic, and specialty vehicles and are looking for a highly skilled individual with experience in engine machining and rebuilding.

Responsibilities

• Complete engine rebuilding from teardown to final assembly.
• Rebuild gasoline engines, cylinder heads, and short and long blocks.
• Perform cylinder head machining and assembly.
• Machine engine blocks, including measuring and inspecting components.
• Operate automotive machine shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect engine components for wear and determine machining requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with technicians and management to ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of automotive machine shop experience preferred.
• Experience rebuilding domestic, import, and performance engines.
• Knowledge of engine machining procedures, tolerances, and specifications.
• Ability to read precision measuring tools and engine specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
