Location: Washougal, Washington

ABC Diesel LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. We are an automotive business specializing in used vehicle sales, vehicle dismantling, used auto parts, and vehicle and equipment testing.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong diagnostic skills, and can help us inspect, diagnose, repair, and prepare vehicles for resale and dismantling.

Job Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in cars, trucks, and diesel vehicles.

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Inspect used vehicles and identify needed repairs before resale.

Assist with vehicle dismantling and the removal of reusable automotive parts.

Test engines, transmissions, and other automotive components.

Perform vehicle inspections and document repair needs.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Help identify salvageable parts and evaluate their condition.

Qualifications

Previous automotive mechanic experience preferred.

Experience with diesel engines is a plus.

Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.

Experience with vehicle dismantling or salvage operations is beneficial.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.

Compensation

Pay: Based on experience and qualifications.
