Automotive Mechanic / Mechanic Assistant

M Cars is looking for a responsible and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our shop in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose vehicle issues and mechanical problems.
• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Repair and service engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and other mechanical components.
• Perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform all repairs carefully, efficiently, and responsibly.

Requirements:

• Previous automotive repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of major automotive systems.
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair vehicles.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and automotive repair tools.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and motivated to work.
