AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC NEEDED

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our busy, family‑operated repair shop located in South Miami near the University of Miami. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, hands‑on repair experience, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work and excellent customer service.

Compensation:

• Pay varies based on experience
• Weekly direct deposit
• Hourly pay increases for each ASE exam passed

Duties

• Automotive diagnostics: Identify issues and recommend accurate repairs
• Vehicle maintenance: Perform routine services to ensure optimal performance
• Component repair: Repair/replace engines, transmissions, brakes, exhaust systems, and related parts
• Team collaboration: Work with other mechanics to complete repairs efficiently and assist others as needed
• Technical communication: Communicate clearly about vehicle issues and repair methods

Experience/Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers

Expectations

• Previous experience in the auto service industry
• Must have own tools
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Valid Miami‑Dade County Mechanic’s License
• ASE certifications preferred (not required)
• Rotating weekends
