Key Responsibilities

Removal & Reinstallation:
Safely pull out and reinstall automatic and manual transmissions, clutches, torque converters, and differentials
Drivetrain Maintenance: Service transfer cases, drive-lines, and associated under-car mechanical components.
Support Rebuilders: Partner with master transmission rebuilders by delivering clean, uninstalled units ready for overhaul or reassembly.
Equipment Operation: Properly utilize hydraulic lifts, transmission jacks, hoists, and standard shop tools.
Shop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment compliant with safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills Experience: Typically 1 to 5 years of hands-on automotive or dedicated transmission R&R experience.
Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of under-car mechanics, hydraulic lines, and basic electrical plugs.
Tool Ownership: Must own a professional set of basic and standard mechanic hand tools (specialty tools are usually provided by the shop).Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy parts, bend, reach, and stand for long periods.
