Automotive Paint Prep / Painter’s Helper (Part-Time)

We are currently seeking an Automotive Paint Prep Technician / Painter’s Helper for a part-time position, with flexibility for after-hours work.

This is not a full-time position at this time, but there is strong potential for growth into full-time employment for the right person as workload and production increase.

Experience is a bonus but not required. We are offering training for the right person.

Compensation:
$18–$23 per hour (based on experience)
$17 per hour (no experience)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning vehicles before and after repairs
• Sanding panels and preparing surfaces for refinishing
• R&I (Remove & Install) of parts and panels
• Masking vehicles and components for primer and paint
• Assisting with body filler mixing and application
• Applying primers
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Assisting painters and body technicians as needed
• Color sanding and buffing parts and panels

Requirements:

• Previous automotive prep / refinishing experience required
• Ability to speak and understand English
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and maintain production standards

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Some weekends and after-hours availability may be needed.
