Automotive Painter/Powder Coating Technician

PLEASE READ REQUIREMENTS BELOW. Precision Coatings Unlimited (PCU-Fast) is seeking an experienced auto painter to assist us in our Chantilly Shop! This is an amazing opportunity for someone to LEARN a variety of skills--we will teach powder coating! 90% of the work we do is alloy wheel refinishing, not bodywork! If you are looking to get out of the typical bodyshop world this is a great opportunity for you. Below is a list of daily tasks that will need to be performed. We are willing to coach the right individual BUT you should at least be able to do one thing on this list and do it WELL.

Daily Job Tasks:
- Ability to remove wheels from car
-Ability to remove tires from wheels
-Ability to use tire removal machine and balancer

• Ability to use hand tools such as grinders and sanders
• Ability to use a buffer and detail cars
• Ability to weld aluminum
• Ability to prep for paint

These tasks are just the beginning! You will have the opportunity to learn powder coating and proper paint techniques down the line as your skills continue to develop. This job is a terrific way to grow your way in the automotive field.
