AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR – $25–$29/HR – NO WEEKENDS

Asmar’s Auto Care is looking for an experienced, dependable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

We have served the Spring Valley community since 1985 and have built our reputation by providing honest recommendations, quality repairs, and excellent customer service. We take the time to educate our customers so they understand their vehicle’s needs and can make informed decisions.

COMPENSATION

• $25–$29 per hour
• Pay based on automotive experience and demonstrated ability
• Approximately $52,000–$60,320 annually at 40 hours per week
• Full-time, year-round position

SCHEDULE

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No weekends

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns
• Ask the right questions to accurately document symptoms and requested services
• Prepare clear and accurate repair orders
• Review technician inspection results and recommendations
• Prepare estimates for parts, labor, and services
• Explain recommended repairs clearly and professionally
• Obtain customer authorization before repairs begin
• Keep customers updated on repair progress and completion times
• Coordinate workflow with technicians and management
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage when applicable
• Process customer payments and prepare daily deposits
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
• Assist with opening and closing the shop
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least two years of automotive service advisor or service writer experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good automotive knowledge and estimating ability
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders and priorities
• Comfortable using computers and automotive shop-management software
• Dependable, organized, and professional
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with customers and technicians
