We are looking for a motivated individual who is willing to work for a family-owned automotive shop, as our service manager. Our preferred candidate is someone who is upbeat, a team player, and results driven, management experience of 10 years minimum. This position is base plus bonuses, base pay is between $6,000.00 per month, with performance bonuses to get you over $200,000.00 per year.

Your Mission as Shop Manager

As our Shop Manager, you are the quarterback of the facility. You will be responsible for driving sales, keeping the bays running efficiently, and coaching the team. 

Lead & Inspire: Cultivate a positive, collaborative shop culture. Keep technicians motivated, productive, and focused on quality.
Drive Sales & Service Advisor Execution: Master the service counter. Build accurate, profitable estimates, deliver transparent digital vehicle inspections (DVIs) to customers, and maximize average repair order (ARO) values without sacrificing trust.
Workflow Optimization: Manage the schedule to ensure cars move smoothly from drop-off, to diagnostics, to final quality checks.
Business Growth: Monitor daily and weekly KPIs (gross profit, technician efficiency, parts margins) and work with ownership to hit shop goals.
Vendor & Parts Management: Maintain excellent relationships with local parts suppliers to ensure high fill-rates and maximize parts margins.

What It Takes to Lead Our Team

We are looking for a true professional. The ideal candidate brings: 

Proven Experience: 10+ years of experience as an Automotive Shop Manager, Service Manager, or Lead Service Advisor in a high-volume independent shop or dealership.
Technical & Diagnostic Fluency: You don't need to turn wrenches every day, but you must thoroughly understand automotive systems to build accurate estimates and explain repairs clearly to customers.
Management Software Expertise: Proficiency with modern shop management ecosystems (e.g., Shop-Ware, Tekmetric, Mitchell1, RO Writer) and digital vehicle inspection platforms.
A Leadership Mindset: Someone who leads by example, remains calm under pressure, and possesses high emotional intelligence when dealing with both stressed customers and busy techs.
