HELP WANTED: AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE WRITER

MD Auto Repair is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Automotive Service Writer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer-service and communication skills, automotive knowledge, and the ability to keep a busy repair shop running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and discussing their vehicle concerns
• Preparing accurate repair orders and estimates
• Clearly explaining recommended repairs and maintenance
• Communicating with technicians and customers throughout the repair process
• Providing customers with timely status updates
• Ordering parts and coordinating repair schedules
• Reviewing completed work and invoices with customers
• Following up with customers after service
• Maintaining organized and accurate customer records

Qualifications:

• Automotive service-writing or repair-shop experience preferred
• Strong sales and customer-service skills
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
• Excellent phone and communication skills
• Professional, positive, and dependable
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license
