Bona Bros. Automotive Services is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician for our Fridley shop.
For more than 70 years, Bona Bros. has provided trusted repair and maintenance for Twin Cities families, businesses, and fleets. Our Fridley location is a busy, well-equipped automotive facility servicing all makes and models of domestic and foreign cars, SUVs, pickups, and light-duty fleet vehicles.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
----------------------------------------
- All makes and models of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Cars, SUVs, pickups, and light-duty commercial/fleet vehicles
- Diagnostics using OEM and dealer-level scan tools and service information
- Engines, transmissions, electrical systems, fuel systems, drivetrains, suspension, steering, brakes, tires, and alignments
- Preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs ranging from routine to major
OPTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPAND YOUR SKILLS

This is primarily an automotive and light-duty fleet role. Technicians interested in broadening their skills may also have opportunities to work on:
- Comcast bucket trucks and aerial lifts
- Amazon delivery vehicles, including Workhorse and P-series vans
- Railroad railgear equipment
- Smaller diesel applications

RESPONSIBILITIES
----------------------------------------
- Diagnose vehicle concerns using OEM diagnostic equipment, scan tools, wiring diagrams, and service information
- Perform maintenance and repairs efficiently and to manufacturer specifications
- Clearly document findings, recommended repairs, and completed work for service advisors
- Verify repairs through quality-control procedures, including road tests or operational testing when applicable
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area
- Continue building technical knowledge through company-paid training and industry education
- Collaborate with fellow technicians on difficult diagnostic or repair issues
QUALIFICATIONS

- At least 3 years of professional automotive diagnostic and repair experience preferred
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicle systems
- Comfortable working on both domestic and foreign makes
- Experience with OEM diagnostic tools and scan equipment preferred
- DOT Inspector certification preferred; we will send the right candidate to class
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; MVR will be run
- Team-first attitude, good communication skills, and pride in quality work
- Must be able to pass a drug test
